The Joyce Suite — Songs Without Words

A tonal and melodic suite for solo flute and strings made up of pieces inspired by Chamber Music, an early collection of poetry by James Joyce (1907). These are based on my earlier vocal settings of some of the poems from the collection. Two pieces from the suite are presented below:
